this week is so stressful! i can not wait for it to be over so i can start break and do stuff i want to do. I want this week to be over so bad i'd punch a gerber baby just to get to Friday. I just got some candy canes!! Thank you Justin, Sarai, and Madison!!! love you guys

Where are the Christmas presents???

So, I have finally figured out where they have been hiding the presents. The big question is whether I should look and see what I got. i am very conflicted because i really really want to know what I got, but I also want to be surprised come Christmas morning. What should I do, look now or wait??

almost done

For leadership we have to read a book and give a book review on it. My book is "Being Wrong" by Kathryn Schulz. it is a great book but it is kind of long and has some hard words. I love this book, but for a project it is a lot of reading. I don't remember when this book review is due... I should probably find that out...

sarai is beautiful

my friend sarai is so beautiful, it hurts to be away from her rays of glory. i just wish i was good enough to even be her servant. i wish i could drive her around all day and buy her whatever her heart of gold desires. when i first met the dashing sarai Fermin, i wanted to marry her. but there was no doubt in my mind that she was way to good for me so i let the dream stay a dream. now i just watch her as she gracefully walks the halls... wishing i could smell her hair. i bet she washes it like everyday. i have yet to ask what shampoo she uses.. i plan on doing it today though. my heart yearns for SARAI FERMIN!!!!!!!!!!! OH SARAI!!!!!!! BE MY LIGHT! BE MY GUARDIAN ANGEL!!!!! I LOVE THEE AND YOUR GREAT SMELLING HAIR! <3333333333333333333333333 

ugh

Pretty much as soon as school began I was ready for it to be over. We only have two days this week, thank God! Hopefully tomorrow goes by faster than today. Sometimes the people closest to you are the ones you need to get some time away from. And that is just what I'm going to do. I am leaving for New York City Wednesday. I come back Sunday afternoon. In between New York and coming home I am going to a small town in Pennsylvania called Mt. Caramel. We are going to be visiting family. On my trip I am going to try and take some pictures for competition this year. Categories I'm going to try and take pictures for are architecture, character, landscape, and possibly still life.

JJ, me and JJ's friend BJ are hanging out at the movies tonight. Ashton was suppose to hang out with us but he got grounded. I also am going to finish my Oakland University application today. I am confident that I will get accepted. I hope that I get good scholarships. My dad works there so we get a good discount. I just got my ACT score back, it was a 26. That was the same as the first time that I took it. I really want a 28. That would give me a much better chance at getting a full ride to OU. Well, later

I am so glad this week is almost over. I still have some work to do but once that is done I am so excited for the weekend! Finished most of my homework, got an optomitrist appointment tomorrow morning then going to my cousins bday party. blowling and a movie are also in the plans for the weekend:)

job

Tomorrow, Friday, I will be quitting my job. I worked there for about 3 months. I enjoyed the pay I got, however the actual job was very boring when there were no customers. I am not quitting because it is boring though. I am quitting because of scheduling issues. Hopefully I will find another job hat I enjoy more and will get at least the same pay as before. A lot of stores are hiring seasonal help. I had a few promising conversations with a couple stores. The only problem I can see in getting a job is that I will not be able to start until the 26th of November. Oh well, I know it all will be okay.

1st quarter

WOW!!! The first quarter of the year is already over. It's hard to believe this is now the 10th week of school. It only feels like 5 to me. I am happy with my academic performance so far and hopefully it only gets better. I am looking forward even more to the memories that will be created in the next 3 quarters. I hope I still hang out with my friends after high school. One of my goals for this year is to try and not worry so much about things that I can't change. All worrying does is get you stressed out and waste time. If you can't change the situation why worry? If you can, then why worry? That is one of my rules this senior year.

Project Partner

Today in British literature we got a paper on a project that we are doing. Each person got a partner for the project. They were picked by Sis. Holly drawing names out of a bowl. I was the last name drawn. And my partner...Gabe. Not gonna lie; I was kind of upset that I got Gabe. Then I thought that this could be a great opportunity to learn how to work with people. We had a little disagreement already because we did not agree on what topic we wanted to do. There was a list and every team had to pick from that list, no duplicate topics. All we had left was an author and two other topics on general themes. Before I even knew my partner I knew I wanted to do an author and not a general theme. By the time that Gabe and I were able to pick there was only one author left. When Sis. Holly asked which topic we want i immediately called out the Author. Gabe said no. i strongly told him that I will only do an Author and not the other two. I didn't care which author we did, if we would have been chosen earlier he could have picked the author. However, since there was only one left I had to put my foot down. Do you think I was too harsh and should have listened to him more or is what I did okay?

saving

Why is it so hard to save money. As you know I have a job and get paid every Friday. It seems like when every Friday rolls around I have the same amount. Through the week I end up spending money here and there, just a little, but it adds up. Now that I realize I have a problem I am going to try and fix it. I have been trying to save up for a keyboard. My plan of action is as follow: 1-Find the keyboard I want so I know how much to save up. 2- After each paycheck I first will pay tithes then put 50% of whats left in savings for the keyboard. Then put $30 away for gas/ general saving. The rest will be my disposable income. If I see hat this plan is not working then I will change it accordingly.

what annoys me

You know what annoys me!? When people walk around the mall or anywhere for that matter and just play music off their phone for everyone to here. It usually is dumb rap music. hey are called headphones people! Not everyone wants to listen to your crappy music. Your life is not a movie, you don't get a soundtrack! So stop doing it. I see lots of these people while I am working at the mall.

I am so ready for this week to be over! Today is the first day this week that I get to just go home after school. I'm going to spend this time by doing laundry, homework, finding my piano book, and cleaning my room. Having these relaxed but useful days is what I love. It would be awesome if I could also find time to go to the Y. Gonna try and end my night by with a nice book. So yeah that's my plans for the day.

wow, its the 5th week of school already. yes it is our first full week of school, but the time is still flying by! soon we will already be in the 2nd quarter. I knew my senior year would go by fast but I never really thought this year would come. it doesnt even feel like we have done much yet. I hope this year is the best yet and will be full of fun and memorable times.My hope for this year is that i will build my friendships strong enough to last after high school. What our your ambitions or dreams for this school year?

Student Council Election

Today is the last day to vote for student council! I am running for Vice-President this year. Last year I ran for 11th grade representative and the year before that I was 10th grade representative. I love being involved in student government and being able to rally for what the students want to happen in their school. If I was voted into office then I would do my best everyday to work for the student body as a whole. I would listen to you're ideas about events, themes for homecoming and anything else you want to talk to me about. It helps student council out when you give us ideas that you like that way we know what to do even better to serve you. Ok so yeah I really like socks. Not just normal boring socks, but crazy socks with cool designs or characters on them. My two favorite places to get socks are Urban Outfitters and a store in Oregon called sock dreams. Obviously I don't go to Oregon to get them, but just get them online. Who want to go to Oregon. This stuff probably sounds like I'm a really big dork but I don't really care. The only thing I am worried about is that I spend too much money on my sock collection. They can cost anywhere from $5 to $12 for a single pair. I only have like 10 pairs in my collection so far. I know this is a lot for just socks, but the joy they bring me, in my opinion, is worth it. Some of my favorite socks are my blue and black ones with mustaches and another pair that has a lot of crazy colors, just think of a Cosby sweater, but with more color.

The school year has officially started! I'm very excited for my senior year. It is a bitter sweet time. Over the summer I got a summer job. I work at the mall. I love my job and get paid decently for a first job. I am a little worried about keeping up with school work while working. I think I can keep up both...hopefully. It is only the second week of school so it is still hard to tell if I will be able to handle it. Do you think it is fine to work while in high school?
